Spintronix was formed around breakthrough research results, at the Swedish Royal Institute of Technology’s (KTH) department of material science, in the field of Spintronics. For the first time a commercial magnetic semiconductor, operating in room temperature, was found. The first material Manganese (Mn)-doped Zinc Oxide (ZnO) demonstrated characteristics that could be useful for applications such as semiconductors, optical sensors and disc drives. Spintronix has now developed a number of Spintronic Materials, production processes and basic designs. Spintronix office is located in Sweden, and is a subsidiary to Spintronics Plc in England.
